National Junior Honor Society

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

Criteria: The club includes students in seventh and eighth grade who have a superior academic report and have qualified through a multi-step evaluation process. All interested students can pick up a student information sheet when the process begins after the first semester (listen for announcements) and initiation takes place each spring.

Activities: The NJHS club is a group of students who work toward providing service within our school, community and world. In the past we have collected money for soldiers serving overseas, adopted needy families at Christmas, ran successful can food drives, and much more! Students are required to maintain a high academic standard and complete 10 hours of individual service per year in addition to serving on one committee per year.

Meetings: Wednesdays from 3-4 (every other week)

Sponsors: Ms. Netherton [email protected] and Mrs. Martin [email protected]
